Floorboards for the inside - making wooden floors trouble-free
When building a wooden house, it is often important that the interior reflects the owners’ love of nature and ecology. That’s why wooden flooring is the perfect choice that can combine modern comfort with the timeless classic choice.
For the cabins we design and build, we offer planed floorboards with a thickness of 19 or 28 mm, which can then be painted or coated in any other way you wish. To ensure that the floor is not only beautiful but also practical, we produce floorboards with a specially milled groove and a tongue and groove, which allows the floorboards to be firmly fastened together. This makes the flooring of the timber cabin strong and seamless; it reduces squeaks when walking and creates a smoother floor surface.
Terrace boards - thought down to the smallest detail
Some of the houses we design have outdoor terraces and balconies. For their flooring, we offer our terracotta planks. For terraces, we use planed and impregnated boards with a thickness of 25 mm. This ensures the strength of the terrace; the boards do not sway when walking and they look aesthetically pleasing. In addition, we offer a special form of board for the installation of terraces, which is installed between the boards and allows the terrace to ventilate better, dry faster and allow rainwater to drain away. This prolongs the life of the terrace, as water does not settle on the terrace and does not damage the wood.
Don't worry about quality and sustainability, because we've taken care of it
The flooring of your timber cabin must match the interior of the cabin and the personal taste of our customers. If you go for wooden flooring, it will give your house a cosy, warm feel and show your concern for ecology and sustainability. Wood is considered to be one of the most environmentally friendly building materials, so we try to use as many wooden components as possible in the manufacturing process of our cabins.
The flooring and terrace boards of the wooden house are made from certified wood that comes to us from forests in Finland and Sweden. We only choose timber from trusted sellers who ensure that the forests are sustainably harvested and replanted, causing minimal damage to the ecosystem of Scandinavian forests. In total, up to 20 000 m3 of wood is processed annually in our mills to make the main structures of our houses, windows, doors and, of course, flooring. Processing this amount of wood inevitably creates waste wood, that is no longer suitable for home production. To reduce our environmental impact, we recycle up to 3000 m3 of wood waste generated in our factories every year. So when you choose our wood flooring, you can be sure that you have chosen the most environmentally friendly flooring possible!
